That is normal and it is a sign the coating is real. Nine months and up stored properly. Do not refrigerate, it adds condensation.
How fresh is this candy and how long does it last?
We hand-make batches 2-3 times a week in our Los Angeles kitchen, so what ships to you is fresh. Shelf life is 9+ months, no refrigeration needed. Store it cool and dry, and reseal the bag if it somehow survives the first sitting.
